Dr MICHELLE O'SULLIVAN

BA(Hons), MSc, PsychD, CPsychol

Michelle is a trauma specialist chartered clinical psychologist, helping people with their recovery for over ten years.

 

She has a particular interest in supporting people who have developed addictive behaviours to cope with traumatic events.

 

Much of her work has focussed on the road to recovery following occupational trauma in the military and the rail industry. 

 

She primarily works therapeutically using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) but draws on a range of models to meet clients’ unique needs, such as Compassion Focussed Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness-based approaches.

 

Her research has been published in the Journal of Correctional Healthcare, the Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine, Forensic Psychiatry and Psychology, Occupational Health [at Work], and Aggression and Violent Behaviour.
